Our Mission, Vision and Board Information!
    Mission Statement
     OESCo is a non-profit business oriented corporation that works in partnership with employers to support wage-based work opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.
    The OESCo Vision
     The vision of the Oregon Employment Services Corporation (OESCO) is to work in partnership with families, businesses, and a diversity of public and private funding agencies to provide long-term quality employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. The focus of our effort is to promote mutually beneficial opportunities for companies and individuals with significant cognitive disabilities who have traditionally been excluded from employment in community settings.

   The focus of our effort includes,
  1. helping individuals with significant cognitive disabilities find regular and ordinary jobs in community settings and
  2. helping the Metropolitan Portland business community use supported employment as a resource for ongoing employment needs.

  Kurt Shusterich, Chair
Kaiser Permanente

Kurt has been a member of the Board since 1993. He is an Organizational Development consultant who works at Kaiser Permanente and is an Adjunct Faculty member who teaches in the MBA program at Marylhurst University.

  Bev Peloquin, Chair
Currently retired

Bev is a founding member of the OESCo Board of Directors. She spent over 20 years in the high tech industry in executive roles including operations management, organizational development and human resources.

  Linda Stent, Board Member
Providence Health Services

Linda is the Senior Recruiter with Providence Health Services has been on the Board of OESCo. for three years. Her interests include career counseling, showing her Boston Terriers, and Argentine Tango. Linda believes in OESCo's mission statement, and strongly believes in giving back to her community.

  Raymond Robertson, Board Member
Currently retired

Raymond Robertson has been an OESCo Board Member for over 10 years, holding the position of Treasurer. Retired from the position of Vice President of Medical Operations Kaiser Permanente Northwest Region, Ray enjoys wine collecting, college athletics, and outdoor activities.
